up the coastline runs the second largest barrier reef in the world and several Islands two of the main ones Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker have some nice Hotels and Bars/Food joints, fast boats run from Belize city on a regular basis, you can also fly to San Pedro which is on Ambergris Caye from Belize City. you can fly to destinations all over Belize if you don’t want to drive.
